In The Picture with Ian Robertson

The show is a mixture of chat around photography and records. Ian's taste in music is fairly universal but he favours the music he grew up with – Beatles, Who, Eagles, Dire Straits, Moody Blues etc. His younger son calls Ian's iPod his “WhyPod” as he can't understand why anyone would listen to it!

As the programme runs, the pictures Ian and his guests will be talking about will appear on the CamGlen Radio Facebook page so that listeners can see the images while they listen to the show.

Ian is looking for listeners to e-mail in their pictures during the show and these will be discussed with that week's guest and it is proposed that the best will feature in an exhibition at the end of the year.

The show will feature a lot of music interspersed with chat, each week there will be a guest photographer who will be subjected to a five minute interview (which will include their music requests)

About Ian...

Ian's been taking pictures since he was 15 – he's a little older now!

After retiring from work in Glasgow City, Ian went to college and completed a full-time course in Photography - “Before I went to college I used to make all my own mistakes, now I've learned to make other's mistakes too!”

Ian has lived in Rutherglen for the last 25 years with his wife, they have two sons.

Ian is also a member of the Royal Photographic Society and has been awarded the Licentiate distinction and is currently working towards his Associateship.
