Music in the Key of Life, with Brian Byrne
Local promoter and Musician Brian Byrne trawls the depths of his lifelong love affair with music to give you classic tracks from the 60’s to the Present day….from the well-known to the obscure and from the established to new & emerging talent. Live studio interviews and telephone chat with artists every Friday from 6pm.
With over 17000 songs to share with you, Music in the Key of Life ranges across multiple genres - from pop to punk, the blues to ska, jazz to reggae - and a mix of well-known and not so well-known acts within those genres, from The Clash and The Beatles to some great lost gems. Each week, Brian also selects an artist of the week for some special attention, and has had interviews with the likes of Eddie Macdonald & Mike Peters of The Alarm; Grahame Skinner of Hipsway and KMO head and songwriter Kevin McDermott.
