To bring you to ‘The Bright Side’. Inspiring, enlivening, enriching and soothing your human spirit ... I want to share with you an eclectic ensemble of tunes and top tips; gastronomy, gardening and guests; philosophy and features; readings and recitations. To celebrate our common humanity, build community, warm your heart and lighten up your day :-)
Q4: What is your favourite show on CamGlen Radio (that isn’t your own)?
It was Bike Town Community Focus ;-)
Q5: If you could interview anyone in the world who would it be and why?
The Dalai Lama - because he is such a wise man and because his life is guided by three major commitments: the promotion of basic human values or secular ethics in the interest of human happiness, the fostering of inter-religious harmony and the preservation of his culture, a culture of peace and non-violence.
Q6: What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
The best Italian vanilla from any of the Glasgow Italian Cafes - it must be in a waffle cone with a flake and fudge pieces too though !
Q7: What is your favourite thing about Cambuslang and Rutherglen?
The vibrant communities they are.
Q8: Tell us three interesting facts about you:
- I have abseiled from the top of the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow
- I work at Glastonbury Festival on an 850 capacity theatre tent venue and sang on stage with Glen Tilbrook of Squeeze in our crew Green Room in 2014 - a definite highlight of my life !
- I have married hundreds of people - ask me more! :-)
